Salon Policy

  • At Bowl & Brush Salon we do not utilize a receptionist. All bookings are handled by the stylists. To book an appointment please reach out to your stylist directly.

  • All new clients are given additional time at booking for a lengthy consultation. This is in addition to any consultations prior to the appointment. This is to ensure that every new client is fully comfortable with the services being performed and the outcome meets the expectation of the client’s wishes.

    New clients may be asked to send the stylists photos of their current hair as well as goal pictures of what they would like to achieve in the salon. The stylist will determine if the client should come in for an in-person consultation prior to booking any services. New clients will be asked to leave a credit card on file at the time of booking

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to your appointment in order to allow time to settle into the salon.

    At Bowl & Brush, we offer our guests a variety of refreshments in order to have a comfortable experience, arriving on time allows us to provide each guest with the same quality experience.

    All stylists reserve the right to adjust or reschedule your appointment if you arrive more than 15 minutes late.

    We understand that sometimes things happen to cause late arrivals, if you will be late to your appointment please contact your stylist directly as soon as possible. We will always do our best to work with our guests and accommodate all reservations.

  • All bookings are confirmed via email and text.

    Each stylist has a different cancellation policy specific to their individual scheduling needs. In order to avoid a cancellation fee with any stylists we ask that you cancel or reschedule your appointments no less than the week prior to your appointment.

    Cancellations made the week of the scheduled appointment may incur a fee.

    If you do not have a credit card on file with your stylist you may be required to pay this fee before you can rebook your next appointment.

    Any cancellations or changes to appointments must be made directly with the stylist. Our salon phone is not checked daily and booking changes will not be received.

    Providing your stylist with proper notice for cancellations and appointment changes allows us to fill your appointment with someone on our waiting list.

    We understand that no one wants to miss their appointment, so we do our best to use discretion in each situation.

  • Bowl & Brush does not offer bridal services. However, we do affiliate with several local salons who specialize in bridal services only and can refer for booking. The salon can also refer to several makeup artists who can travel to the salon as well as to your location.

  • Please do not bring children, friends, spouses, or guests to your hair appointment. It limits the stylist’s ability to provide a quality service in a timely manner and affects the salon environment for other guests.

    We do not allow children in the salon. We love children but the salon is designed to deliver a relaxing experience for all guests and is not an appropriate environment for children.

    We will begin to offer services for children at the age of 13. All salon services are priced the same.

  • Bowl & Brush accepts all major credit cards and cash. If you intend to pay in cash please be prepared with exact change as the salon does not have change.

    We do not accept checks for any payments or gratuities.

    If you would like to pay Venmo/Paypal please reach out directly to your stylist to confirm that he or she accepts this form of payment.

    Gratuity is always appreciated but never expected. Bowl & Brush will accept gratuity in all of the above forms of payment.

  • Bowl & Brush reserves the right to cancel/reschedule any appointments due to inclement weather.

    Please follow Bowl & Brush on all social media sites for up-to-date weather cancellations. If the weather is so bad that we need to reschedule your appointment you will be contacted as soon as possible and given a new appointment as close to your original time/date as can be managed.

  • Each client receives a thorough consultation prior to all chemical, cutting, and styling appointments in order to guarantee that everyone leaves the salon with the hair they hoped for.

    After each appointment the stylists allow time for styling tips and tricks, discussing at-home care to maintain your salon service, and give you a walk-through of the finished service.

    If after you leave you to decide you would like to add or adjust to your finished look, it may require an additional session. Please contact your stylist directly to book an appointment.

    There is no complimentary appointments post service for adjustments or additions. If there is a legitimate need to correct something that may have gone wrong during the service it is the stylist’s discretion whether or not to offer a complimentary adjustment.

    All services are nonrefundable. All retail is final sale.
